Rebeca Beliard is currently pursuing a Master of Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Mechatronic Systems from the University of Detroit Mercy. Her research interests include universal communication in the global workplace and innovative tools for product design processes. She is currently employed at DENSO International America, Inc., as a junior design engineer in the Body Component Systems division. She earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, also at the University of Detroit Mercy, where she participated in the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition in 2010 with team Cerberus. Her professional career includes employment as a co-op production engineer at General Motors Livonia Engine plant, and an internship as a research analyst at Intellectual Asset Group, LLC.
